In this sequence we play with stabilizing the lower part of the body while playing tug of war with the upper half. Single leg balancing asanas like twisted warrior 3, temple dancer, revolved hand to knee/foot are also part of the movement. Everything winds down with pigeon pose or deer pose to stretch the glutes and outer hips.
