Yoga is more than flexible muscles and handstands. Asana (posture) is not about what your body can or cannot do. Yoga is the practice of self-inquiry. When we strive to align with the best version of ourselves, we are better able to cultivate compassion for the world and all beings. When we move and breathe with a deeper level of intention, we are better able to tune into what we are experiencing. The work comes in discerning what is best for you in the moment, and how your actions and reactions affect those around you.
My goal is to remind you that it can be fun to explore what movement is available in your wonderfully unique body, and that you are in control of your practice at all times!
